Intro workshops
Ready to be part of the solution for feral and stray cats? Learn how in this online certification workshop presented by Neighborhood Cats and hosted by the Community Cats Podcast. Our expert instructors will teach you best practices for feeding, trapping, colony caretaking, talking to people about TNR and more. Sessions are available live and on demand. They include extensive handouts and video of actual projects.
Attendees who pass a short (and easy!) quiz receive a Certificate of Attendance. New York City trappers and caretakers gain access to discount spay/neuter, funding support and no cost trap rentals.
The session lasts 2 1/2 hours followed by an optional 15 minute Q&A. There is a $10 registration fee and the recording will be available to registrants for 365 days afterwards. This workshop is approved for Continuing Education Units by the National Animal Care & Control Association (NACA) and sponsored by Tomahawk Live Trap.
